About Rachel & Box and Bully Estates

Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m a licensed veterinary technician, and I’ve spent a good part of my career around dogs, in clinics and at home. I’ve also grown up around breeding. My family has bred Golden Retrievers for years, and that’s where I learned the parts of breeding that matter most: patience, careful records, and thinking about a puppy’s health long before it’s born.

Box and Bully started because I wanted to raise a small number of dogs I could know well, with health and temperament at the top of the list. It’s still a small operation. It’s just me, my family, and our dogs.

Why Boxers and Olde English Bulldogges

Boxers are playful, loyal, and people-focused. We work with German lines because they’re known for a sturdy, athletic build and a steady temperament that suits family life. Olde English Bulldogges bring a calm, sturdy, people-loving presence. Both breeds want to be part of the household, and that’s exactly how we raise them.

Our philosophy

• Small numbers. We have only a few litters at a time, so every puppy gets real one-on-one attention.
• All dogs live in the home. Our dogs aren’t kept in kennel runs. They live with us.
• Daily handling and socialization. Puppies are handled, exposed to new sounds and people, and taught that the world is a safe place.
• Temperament and health first. We test our breeding dogs and choose for disposition, not just looks.
• Family first. We want to know your household, and we want to hear from you after your puppy goes home.

Where we are

We’re in Medical Lake, Washington, a short drive west of Spokane. We’re happy to meet families in Medical Lake, at Spokane International Airport (GEG), or at a meetup in Kennewick.
