Why is the deposit non-refundable?
The $540 deposit holds one specific puppy for you and takes that puppy off the market. We turn down other families for that puppy, so the deposit isn’t refunded. We know that’s a big ask, which is why we talk at length before you ever pay one.
What does the deposit go toward?
It’s applied to your total puppy price. The remaining balance is due at pickup.
What is limited registration?
Our puppies are registered with the AKC on limited registration. They’re sold as pets, not breeding stock, so they can’t be used for breeding. This keeps our lines in responsible homes.
How do you test the parents?
Both our studs and our dams are tested for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) before they’re bred. Results are available on request.
Are the dogs kept inside?
Yes. All of our dogs live in the house with us. Our puppies are raised in the home and get daily handling and socialization.
What's included with my puppy?
Each puppy goes home with a vet check, vet records, the start of its vaccine series, a limited AKC registration, a written puppy agreement and health guarantee, and some feeding and care guidance from Rachel. [Rachel: confirm this list.]
Where do I pick up my puppy?
Medical Lake, Spokane International Airport (GEG), or a meetup in Kennewick. We can also help arrange transport for families farther away.
Do you ship puppies or take online payments?
We prefer in-person pickup, and we can help arrange transport. Deposits and final payments are made in person or by arrangement. We don’t process online payments.
How do I get on the waitlist?
Use the contact form and choose Waitlist for a future litter. Rachel will reach out when a litter is planned.
How do I know when puppies are available?
Check the Puppies page, or follow us on Facebook or Instagram. Puppies are listed as Available, Reserved, or Went home.
